It takes a village to “Train up a child in the way they should go…” - Proverbs 22:6

Who We are

The Village Neighborhood is a community-centered 501(c)(3) organization committed to strengthening the village of people — parents, families, early educators, caregivers, and communities — that pour into our children every day.

We believe in addressing the needs of these essential caregivers; they are more confidently equipped, thoroughly encouraged, and actively supported to create environments where children can thrive. At our core, we exist to support the village that surrounds every child. When their community is strengthened, their future is strengthened.

Our Services

The Village Neighborhood serves by strengthening the people and partnerships that shape the lives of children. Our work is centered on equipping the village — the educators, families, and community leaders who guide the next generation.

We meet needs through intentional support, collaborative relationships, and community-centered initiatives designed to reinforce a strong foundation for children to grow and thrive.

Our Team

Taliyah “Dew” Morgan

Founder & Executive Director

Dew has always carried a deep passion for early education and ensuring that every child has access to quality care, intentional guidance, and meaningful opportunity. As a former early childhood educator, she often shares that Miss Honey from Matilda was her scholastic role model — and for many years, she sought to embody that same gentleness, patience, and unwavering belief in the potential of every child by nurturing their individual gifts.

As her experience in early childhood education grew, so did her awareness. She began to recognize a disconnect between the many components that shape a child’s development — from the resources available to early learning centers, to the access and awareness available to families, to the level of support extended to educators themselves.
