Our Roots
The Village Neighborhood began because of a seed planted in the heart of an early educator. From that seed grew a vision that turned into the mission of “Train up children in the way they should go.” We believe that every child is created on purpose, with purpose, for purpose. When we nurture their purposes, possibilities grow. At The Village Neighborhood, we recognize that the best way to strengthen our children is by strengthening the community of people who pour into them.
Who We Are
The Village Neighborhood is a community-centered non-profit organization committed to strengthening the village of people — parents, families, early educators, caregivers, and communities — that pour into our children every day.
We believe that through addressing the needs of these essential caregivers, they are more confidently equipped, thoroughly encouraged, and actively supported to create environments where children can thrive. At our core, we exist to support the village that surrounds every child. When their community is strengthened, their future is strengthened.
