Taliyah “Dew” Morgan
Founder & executive Director
Dew has always carried a deep passion for early childhood education and for ensuring that every child has access to quality care, intentional guidance, and meaningful opportunity. As a former early childhood educator, she often shares that Miss Honey from Matilda was her scholastic role model — and for many years, she sought to embody that same gentleness, patience, and unwavering belief in the potential of every child by nurturing their individual gifts.
As her experience in early childhood education grew, so did her awareness. She began to recognize a disconnect between the many components that shape a child’s development — from the resources available to early learning centers, to the access and awareness available to families, to the level of support extended to educators themselves.
What began as observation became conviction.
Dew believes that raising children is sacred work. It requires more than individual effort; it requires a connected village that is aligned, equipped, and committed. With a heart rooted in service and a desire to honor God by using the passion and gifts He placed within her for meaningful community impact, she founded The Village Neighborhood.
Her leadership is guided by faith, compassion, and a deep sense of responsibility to strengthen the adults and institutions that shape young lives. She is committed to building collaborative relationships and sustainable initiatives that position children to embrace their gifts and walk confidently into their future.
Through The Village Neighborhood, Dew seeks to cultivate spaces where support is shared, voices are heard, and communities work together — ensuring that every child is surrounded by a village prepared to help them thrive.
